WET – 2: Basic Safety (23 hours-60 days)

Basic Safety provides the Wholesale Distribution Employee an overview of the hazards found in industrial and construction work environments that they may come in contact with during their work day.  This course provides the essential knowledge required to help workers keep themselves safer and to support accident prevention in the workplace.
This course is NATE recognized for 23 hours of continuing education ( CEHs) applicable to NATE recertification and BPI recognized for 11.5 continuing education units ( CEUs).
The Modules that compose this course are:

  • 102 - 1: Labels, MSDS and Training
  • 102 – 2: Personal Protective Equipment
  • 102 – 3: Personal Safety in Confined Spaces and on Ladders
  • 102 – 4: Fire Extinguishers and Compressed Gases
  • 102 – 6: Back Safety, Scaffolds, Lifts and Fall Protection
