293 Water Treatment for HVACR Systems II (21 instructional hours to be completed within 60 days) Course Description: Water is a major component in many types of HVACR systems. The quality and suitability of that water is critical to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of those systems. This intermediate levelcourse introduces you to the concepts, information and procedures you need to know to understand the importance of water quality. You will learn, in detail, about the attributes of water and its relationship to HVACR systems. Specific water quality requirements are discussed and methods of controlling and creating suitable water quality conditions are introduced. Instruction aligns with ACCA Quality Installation and ACCA/ ASHRAE Standard 180. This course is recognized for 21 hours of continuing education (CEHs) applicable to NATE re-certification.
