Xcel Energy Quality Installation Review
This is a self-paced/self-directed review program to refresh the HVAC technician?s knowledge regarding the proper installation of residential HVAC air systems. Quality installations yield higher energy efficiency and optimal system performance.
The review topics related to energy efficiency and installations are:
- Proper Refrigerant Charging
- Correctly Sized Equipment
- Proper Air Flow Measurement and Verification
- A Leak-free Duct System
The review content uses text, animations, video, photos, etc. Each section also includes a significant practice test bank. Review participants have access to the content for 30 days and are able to take practice tests to discover what their weak areas might be. The review is optional and separate from the Quality Installation Assessment.
